In general, start reading, you will not regret it. Based on this book, directed by Stephen Daldry, the film of the same name was shot, where the main role was played by Kate Winslet. If you still find it difficult to read from the beginning, you can read the book in Russian, and then re-read it in the original language. The language of the story is not complicated, the storyline is exciting.
